A man was airlifted to hospital after a brick wall fell on him in a Norfolk village.

The East of England Ambulance Service received a call at 11am on Monday to Barford Road in Marlingford.

An ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were dispatched to a report of a man who had been injured by a 10ft brick wall that had fallen.

They treated a man, believed to be in his 30s, who had leg, pelvis and back pain.

He was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further care. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
