A secretary at Stalham Staithe surgery has picked up an award for her efforts while studying on an apprenticeship qualification with Easton and Otley College.
Shannon Taylor, 21, from Stalham, was named the 'Intermediate Professional Studies Apprentice of the Year'.
She joined the surgery in 2015 as an apprentice secretary and has completed her Level 2 Diploma in Business and Administration apprenticeship. Now a permanent member of staff, she has enrolled on the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration at the college.
Head of employer engagement at Easton and Otley College, Louise Wicks, said: 'The value of these qualifications cannot be underestimated and they offer a genuine alternative to other more traditional educational routes such as A-levels and university.'
Nineteen awards were handed out to businesses and students.
