The team behind a firm which provides residential care and support have been celebrated at a ceremony.

In total, 250 staff from Norfolk-based Norse Care attended the event, at Open in Norwich, where eight winners were praised for their work with residents and tenants.

Anita Miles, based in North Walsham, won the award for person-centered care, while multi-site manager Nicola Cressey was rewarded for her leadership skills.

Janette Barnes, who is based in Chedgrave, won the award for respect, and Zowie Bedford, who works in Gorleston, earned hers for pride and achievement.

The firm's Laburnum Grove housing with care scheme, in Thetford, won the award for environment, while Allison Edwards won another for dementia service. Regional director Jason Parker won an award for commitment and Maria Kellatti won hers for community engagement.

Karen Knight, managing director at Norse Care, said their carers work with 'good humour, creativity and lots of love and care'.
