UEA Sportspark, Norwich Activity Groups for those with dementia. 11.15am-1pm

A friendly drop in session for you and your carer where you can chat over a cup of coffee and try your hand at a few activities if you wish, including Boccia, table tennis, short tennis, new age curling, indoor golf, dance and stretching for health. No experience or equipment necessary. Monthly.

This includes a dementia booklist.

The books are helpful for people who have dementia, are caring for someone with dementia, or want to find out more about the condition. They include information and advice, help after diagnosis, practical support for carers and personal stories.

There are copies in Norfolk libraries and they can be reserved for free if they are on loan.

Norfolk libraries also have Reminiscence Kits and Packs available to borrow.

The Reminiscence Kits are based on themes such as Childhood, Holidays and the Seaside.

The kits contain books and objects linked to the theme and are designed for working with individuals at various stages of memory loss and those with communication difficulties.
