Cromer Hospital is celebrating treating its one millionth patient, as well as the 150th anniversary of its opening in 1867.
Mark Smith, 58, from Trunch, near North Walsham, has been attending the Mill Road hospital for just over two years to receive chemotherapy once a week and is the one millionth patient.
He said: 'The care that I have received over the years has been so friendly and professional and everyone has always gone the extra mile in making sure that I am as relaxed as possible. They have made everything more manageable for my family and myself, and I can't thank them enough.
'Cromer Hospital is such an important part of the north Norfolk community.'
He also receives weekly support from staff at the Muriel Thoms unit.
Hospital matron Anita Martins said: 'It's been a fantastic few years in the new hospital.
'We've got so many amazing services on offer at Cromer, and it's important to celebrate how important they are for our patients.'
To highlight the anniversary, the hospital is hosting a fete on June 24 from 10am-3pm.
Activities will include games, stalls, musical entertainment and a raffle. There will also be face painting and outside games for younger visitors.

The newly developed Cromer Hospital opened its doors to the public in March 2012 replacing the 1930s-founded hospital.
The £15m development was made possible by legacies from Sagle Bernstein and Phyllis Cox.
The first hopsital in 1867 was based at cottages in Louden Road, and in 1888 a new hospital was built in Louden Road. This building remained the hospital for 44 years. Cromer & District Hospital was opened on July 20, 1932.
The hospital boasts an ophthalmic operating theatre, a permanent renal dialysis unit, an on-site breast screening service, a DEXA scanner for osteoporosis diagnosis and an MRI scanner.
