A lifesaving charity is celebrating after joining the Association of Air Ambulances (AAA).
Magpas has met the necessary membership criteria and agreed to abide by the AAA's code of conduct to qualify to join the association. Members can access a range of benefits, including information and resources, together with statistics and clear guidance on improved charitable, operational and clinical best practice.
Daryl Brown, Magpas chief executive officer, said: 'With the acquisition of our own dedicated Air Ambulance in 2011, the charity increasingly recognises the importance of close cooperation between our regional air ambulances and ambulance services that we support. The association endeavours to build on existing relationships between all parties involved to develop a continually improving emergency response network, as well as working with its members to ensure good practice at all times. Magpas is proud to be a part of this.'
