The head of the East of England Ambulance Service has spoken of his pride after receiving the Queen's Ambulance Medal.
Anthony Marsh, who has been chief executive of the region's ambulance service since January, was presented with the award by the Prince of Wales at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
He said: 'I'm honoured to have received this prestigious award, however, I couldn't have done so without the hard work and dedication of my ambulance service colleagues.
'I'm extremely proud to have been part of the service for 27 years now, and I look forward to continuing to work to improve the service that we offer to patients in the east of England.'
