A bar in Norwich has been shortlisted for a prestigious national bar award.
Gonzo's Tea Room, on London Street, is one of three shortlisted to win the Sustainable Practices Award category in the CLASS Bar Awards.
The CLASS Bar Awards is a nationwide award ceremony run by CLASS magazine, an influential magazine for the UK bar industry.
Most of the shortlisters come from the London area and Gonzo's Tea Room is the only Norfolk business to make it on the list.
The Sustainable Practices Awards highlights how environmentally ethical a bar has been. Gonzo's was part of a campaign encouraging other local businesses to get rid off plastic straws, after it was revealed just how much damage they do to the environment.
Gonzo's, along with the other shortlisters, are now invited to the CLASS Bar Awards VIP dinner ahead of the CLASS Bar Awards ceremony on February 20.
On their Facebook page, Gonzo's thanked the people and other businesses who helped them achieve recognition within this category.
They also thanked CLASS for creating the Sustainable Practices Award and added 'hopefully more venues will continue to realise we can still be great people while having great fun.'
