Fire crews attended two road traffic collisions in north Norfolk this weekend.

A crew from Cromer fire station attended a crash in Holt Road, on Saturday November 18, after being called to the incident by the ambulance service at 10.45am.

Firefighters ensured that the vehicle and the scene of the accident were made safe.

And on Friday November 17 appliances from Dereham and Watton fire station attended a traffic collision in Necton.

The accident took place on Dunham Road.

The fire service were called to the scene at 10.45pm.

The crews released people from the vehicles, using small gear, and made the area safe.

A spokesperson for the fire service said that they assisted the ambulance service at the scene and ensured vehicle stability.

The last crews left the incident by 11.15pm.

A spokesperson for the ambulance service confirmed that an ambulance officer and ambulance crew attended this collision to a report of a woman who was trapped.

She was assessed at the scene, but did not require transport to hospital.
