Firefighters from Suffolk rescued a calf, which had fallen into a ditch at Gillingham Dam.
Three fire crews were called out to assist with an animal rescue in the Gillingham area about 9.40am yesterday morning (Monday).
A crew from Beccles fire station and two crews from Lowestoft South fire station attended the scene, and they were quickly able to release the calf to safety.
A brigade spokesman said: 'Three crews from Beccles and Lowestoft South were called to a calf in a ditch where they released it and returned it to a field.'
The incident was dealt with by 10.06am.
