Train services on a tourist attraction were affected after a large north Norfolk field fire broke out this afternoon.
Firefighters from Aylsham, Sprowston, Wroxham and North Walsham as well as a water carrier from Hethersett were called to the blaze of field stubble between Brampton and Buxton just before 4.15pm today.
The fire broke out over 10 hectares near the Bure Valley Railway, which is a 15 inch gauge line that runs between Aylsham and Wroxham, but the flames were out by 4.45pm.
A Norfolk Fire Service spokesman said an advisory had been sent out to the railway to stop services.
People from the Bure Valley Railway were seen walking up the line and said the train had stopped because of smoke from the fire.
No-one was injured and Sprowston firefighters have now left the scene.
Other firefighters are currently damping down the area.
