Children are being urged to step into David Attenbrorough's shoes and present their own wildlife videos, or interact with swans and hares on a giant screen, at a west Norfolk wetland centre.
The new installation at the WWT wetland centre, near Downham Market, allows visitors to fly with swans, hide in the reeds like a bittern or box with hares.
Children and adults can connect with the natural spectacles filmed by the Great Ouse Wetland project in a new and interactive way.
This has all been made possible with a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the support of the Ouse Washes Landscape Partnership scheme (OWLP), which stretches for nearly 50km from Downham Market to St Ives in Cambridgeshire.
Using a studio set-up complete with a green screen, visitors can interact with scenarios using a selection of props.
Or they can step into the shoes of Steve Backshall or Michaela Strachan and present to camera about what they are seeing.
Media production officer Adam Finch said: 'Children can explore different wetland worlds and interact with a range of fascinating species or step into the shoes of David Attenborough and present their own wildlife videos.
'It's a fantastic way for children to engage with wildlife through technology and learn about the world around them in a new and exciting way.'
Landscape partnership programme manager for Cambridgeshire ACRE, Mark Nokkert said: 'Having just recently tried this activity out with my six-year-old son, we would thoroughly recommend it.
'The staff and volunteers are great at engaging children and adults alike with this opportunity.'
During the summer holidays the wildlife film room is available on Wednesdays and weekends.
WWT Welney manages over 300 acres of wetland habitat on and around the Ouse washes. These wetlands are internationally important for several species of wintering wildfowl and nationally important as summer breeding grounds.
