The body of a man recovered from the Norfolk Broads at the weekend has been formally identified.
A Home Office post mortem has already revealed that John Didier, aged 41, a US citizen who had been living in Mitcham, Surrey, died through drowning.
The body of a woman, 49, from Mitcham in Surrey, was also recovered from the River Bure on Sunday. A post mortem revealed she is likely to have died as a result of strangulation.
They were found by divers brought in by police after the woman's daughter was found alone aboard a hired pleasure cruiser. Police continue to treat the deaths as a domestic incident. A file is being prepared for the coroner for inquest.
