Around 80 primary schools will compete against one another to win a fully-installed interactive technology suite worth over £6,750.
In a competition run by SMART Technologies and South Norfolk technology company Midwich, primary school children in Diss and the surrounding area are being invited to write short stories about how technology will change education over the next 20 years.
With the hope of capturing childrens' imaginations and sparking their interest in technology, Ben Thompson, Midwich communications and PR manager, said: 'At Midwich we want to inspire young people to think about the future of technology and how it could help them to learn.'
Two prize winners will be selected, each winning an interactive technology suite for their school.
The competition closing date is Friday, April 21. For more information, visit www.midwichtechtales.com
