With high school proms getting ever grander Martham's class of 2014 looked relaxed and glamorous as they said a flash farewell to their school days.

Students from Flegg High School arrived in style sporting teased tresses and spectacular dresses for their prom at Southwood Hall in Freethorpe on Tuesday.

With many girls sporting their fantasy prom dress complete with ruffles and diamante adornment, heels and corsages it was a simple case of a sharp suit for the boys.

And with stretch limousines among the budget-blowing forms of transport much of what was on show was more associated with the celebrity elite, but for one night only.

Posing for photographs that will be treasured forever, the girls and boys enjoyed the red carpet treatment as they marked the end of their high school years.

Diane Holland who took the pictures said everyone had had a great time with the sun coming out after a rainy start.
