A programme of support for gifted and talented students at East Norfolk Sixth Form College is reaping the rewards with seven students already being offered places at Cambridge and Oxford Universities.

Offers include maths for Joseph Windsor-Freeman and Jake Dixon, natural sciences for Kerry Legg, English literature for Elicia Aitken, history and politics for Cody Abel and chemistry for Jack Collins.

They have been supported at the college by the Extend Programme, which is planned specifically to offer specialist advice and support for competitive UCAS applications for courses at Oxbridge and other courses such as medicine, dentistry and veterinary science.

Principal Dr Catherine Richards said: “At the college, we have a fantastic track record of seeing our student’s progress to some of the top universities in the country.

“The Extend Programme is unrivalled locally and every year we see it evolve, offering lots of extra opportunities to students across all curriculum areas.”
