The Polish heritage of some of Norfolk's top academics will be presented at a special talk in Norwich tonight.

The Parallel Poles talk will see Polish-born Elizabeth Fudakowska discuss her life and answer questions about her 30 year career at the UEA library, of which she has helped to create.

Freya Gallagher-Jones from the Writers' Centre in Norwich will reveal her family links to Poland's greatest Romantic writer Adam Mickiewicz and discuss his work.

The talks are being hosted by the Norfolk Polish Heritage Group and will be taking place at 7.00pm at The Julian Study Centre at the UEA.

Tickets cost £4 for students and £6 for guests.
