Gardeners, artists and craftsfolk will be showing off their handiwork this weekend at a village fair.

Villagers in Dersingham will be showing off their talents on Sunday and Monday (11am - 5pm).

Some 18 gardens will be open, along with five artists' studios.

There will also be market stalls in St Nicholas Court, lunches and teas, and a firefightin display at the fire station.

The church will also be the venue for a live jazz session on Monday afternoon (2 - 4pm).

'Our event brings together the creativity that resides in Dersingham gardeners, artists and artisans, all have come together to showcase their efforts over two days in May,' said Judy Collingham, whose garden in Fern Hill is among those welcoming visitors.

'In St Nicholas Court you will find stalls selling local produce from asparagus to wines, items from Granny's Attic, walking sticks and dog leads.

'On the recreation ground, a bouncy castle should exhaust the children and on Monday afternoon Cocktail Jazz will entertain with an easy listening programme.'
