A 32 year-old woman has appeared in court in connection with a stabbing in Norwich.
Police, including armed officers, attended the scene just after midnight on Wednesday, June 21 following reports a man had been stabbed with a knife at a flat in Watson Grove.
Danielle Shepherd, of Watson Grove, was arrested and subsequently charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent and assaulting two police officers.
She appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court via videolink from Wymondham Police Investigation Centre (PIC) on Thursday, June 22 and spoke only to confirm her details during the brief hearing.
The case was formally sent to Norwich Crown Court on July 20.
She has been remanded in custody until the next hearing.
The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered a serious but not life threatening chest injury.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment and later discharged.
