A woman has been arrested on the suspicion of drug-driving and possession of a class A drug after the car she was believed to be driving crashed into a home in Gorleston.
Police were following the car on Sunday night when it crashed into a property in Englands Lane at about 8.15pm.
A woman was seen to run away from the car.
After a search by police officers a woman aged in her 20s was arrested a short time later in the Beach Road area on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision and drug driving.
Following searches, officers seized what is believed to be Class A drugs and cannabis.
The woman was then further arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a Class A and Class B drug.
She was later released from police custody under investigation while enquiries continue.
