A Norwich man who engaged in sexual activity with two teenage girls has been jailed two years and placed on the sex offender's register for 10 years.
Douglas Mortimer, 21, engaged in sexual activity with one 14-year-old girl and another girl aged 15, Norwich Crown Court heard.
William Carter, prosecuting, said Mortimer had also sent sexual text messages to one of the girls.
Mortimer, formerly of Bowthorpe, Norwich, admitted sexual activity with the girls.
John Morgans, for Mortimer, said that he was 20 at the time of the offences and had a number of difficulties.
'There was not such a disparity in their ages. He was very immature for his age.'
He said Mortimer made admissions in his police interviews which resulted in him being charged.
'But for his admissions he would not be here.'
Recorder Guy Ayers said that Mortimer had committed the offences for his own sexual gratification.
