An inquest has been opened after a 23 year-old Norwich builder was found dead at his home after he had taken heroin.

Robert David Lardi, was found at his home in Parsonage Square, in Norwich, on September 26, this year.

The inquest into his death was opened and adjourned at a brief hearing held at Norfolk Coroner's Court, in Norwich.

Area coroner Yvonne Blake said Mr Lardi, whose occupation was listed as being a builder, was found dead at his home address, in Norwich, after he had taken the drug.

She said that tests which were carried out following his death showed that Mr Lardi had died from heroin toxicity.

Ms Blake adjourned the inquest until January 26, next year, when there will be a full hearing.
