A 20-year-old Norwich man arrested on suspicion of GBH after a fight in the city has been bailed until mid-August while enquiries continue.

As reported, police were called to a fight involving two men outside the Kam Lee Chinese takeaway in Drayton Road at about 2pm yesterday.

On arrival, officers found a man with a serious arm injury who was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment where he remains.

The shop window of the Chinese takeaway was also damaged during the incident.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Andy Vinsen, from Norwich CID, said: 'This is a busy shopping area and while a number of witnesses were spoken to at the scene, I'd been keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened and hasn't already spoke to police to come forward.'
