Police made several public order arrests in King's Lynn town centre including one woman who punched a police officer.

A man was arrested at around 11pm on Saturday, May 13, in Norfolk Street for being drunk and disorderly.

A woman tried to interject by pushing one officer out of the way and punching another on the shoulder.

No injuries were caused and she was arrested for assaulting the police officers. She is awaiting interview at the King's Lynn investigation centre.

Police were then called to assist door staff at Bar Red at 11.40pm after they had seen a man taking suspected cocaine in the toilets.

The door staff searched the man and was found in possession of a small bag of white powder. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and taken to King's Lynn Police investigation centre for interview.

Two further drunk and disorderly arrests were made and another for assault.
