The inquest into the death of a man at a Besthorpe hire firm has been adjourned for another review hearing.

James Criddle, 29, of Watton, died on May 15 2017 in an incident while working at Baldwin Skip Hire.

Senior coroner Jacqueline Lake said police were continuing investigations following his death, and adjourned proceedings until April 11.

The East of England Ambulance Service was called to the premises in the village at 1.05pm to reports that a man had suffered traumatic injuries.

After his death, friends described Mr Criddle as a kind, loving man who cared for his girlfriend Holly Eagling and his young daughter Lexi.

Friend John Rudling said: 'He was so loved by all he came across. He was always such a smiling young gentleman and would always go out of his way to help anyone.'
