A GREAT Yarmouth man has been jailed after being found guilty of a series of sexual offences against three young girls.

Kevin Feavyer, 54, from Nelson Road South, was sentenced to six years in prison at Norwich Crown Court today (Monday) after a jury found him guilty of two counts of assault against a girl aged under 13 by touching, and three counts of indecent assault on a girl under 14.

The offences took place in Norfolk between 1999 and 2011.

Det Sgt Frances Cable, of Norfolk Constabulary's child abuse investigation unit, who lead the investigation, said: 'This has been a horrendous ordeal for Feavyer's victims, which he then forced them to relive for the courts.

'It took an enormous amount of courage on their part, and we hope such a sentence will give them a sense of closure, and that they can now move on positively with their lives.'

Feavyer was also placed on the Sex Offenders' Register for life unless deemed otherwise in the future.

He was found guilty of all five counts at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday, December 19.
