Fifty portraits of women who have had breast cancer surgery and reconstruction have gone on display in Norwich.

The exhibition called 'Femininity Comes From Within' has been put together by the charity Keeping Abreast to mark its 10th anniversary.

It launched on Sunday in the Music Room of The Assembly House on Theatre Street, and is on until Tuesday, October 31.

The portraits were taken by Norfolk photographer Julia Holland.

She said: 'All the women were brave enough to come and take part because they were brave enough to come and take part because they wanted to make a difference to others facing breast cancer.'

All of the women pictured are aged between 30 and 70, and have either had breast cancer or preventative mastectomies.

Alongside each portrait are the women's own words about their experiences and feelings.
