A drink driver has been banned from driving for 20 months after crashing his car into a wall in Norwich.
He was arrested on March 5 following the crash which happened at around 6.30am on Dereham Road.
As well as damaging a wall and two gates, the vehicle, a blue BMW 525, was also written-off.
Norwich Police have since confirmed the driver has been banned from driving for 20 months and has to pay £1,480 in fines.
Officers tweeted: 'The driver of this vehicle pleaded Not Guilty. He's now Disqualified from Driving for 20 months & has to pay fines totaling £1480.00.'
At the time of the crash Norwich Police tweeted: 'Result of drink driving! 2 families rudely woken, damaged caused to 2 gates & 1 wall, 1 car written off & 1 driver arrested.'
