Both Hollesley Bay prisoners who absconded have been arrested
James Regan, 33, and Robert Butler, 34, were reported as missing to police at around 8.30am yesterday after they failed to attend morning roll call at the open prison.
Regan is serving a four and a half year sentence for burglary. He was arrested shortly before midnight in Hastings, Sussex.
The other absconder, Butler, who is serving a seven-year and three-month sentence for conspiracy to commit burglary and driving offences, was arrested in Hastings this morning (Sunday, January 14) and will now be returned to the prison system.
Members of the public were yesterday advised not to approach both men.
