Dozens of people have shown community spirit by dropping of donations for the families affected by the Walpole fire.
Bedding, clothes and even coffee machines and food were dropped off at the nearby Jephson Hall.
Angela Warner, booking secretary, said the hall was opened at 7.30am for people to drop off donations before heading to work and some donations were left overnight.
'It's fabulous, people have seen what had happened and felt they needed to do something to help,' she said. 'It's fantastic how everybody is coming together.
'It's very sad what has happened, those old buildings were part of the fabric of our village for all those years. They were nice little family homes and now it's just gone.'
And it's not only residents from Walpole who are rushing to help. Susan Bragg, from Terrington, said: 'I saw on Facebook that we could drop donations here and wanted to help.'
