One of the hottest tickets in Norwich this December will be for a night of cocktails and entertainment which will raise funds in aid of Help For Heroes.

An event entitled Cocktails & Confusion will be held at Epic Studios, the former Anglia TV studios in Magdalen Street, on the night of Saturday, December 15.

The evening will feature cocktails, canaps, singers, comedians, magicians, live statues and a charity auction in aid of the armed forces charity.

The evening will feature the talents of cocktail experts Esco and music from The Collective.

Help For Heroes was chosen thanks to BBC television show Top Gear, which owner of Epic Studios, Jonathan Thursby, has been involved with for a number of years through filming with his Norwich-based company Extreme Videos.

Mr Thursby said: 'I know Jeremy Clarkson and the rest of the Top Gear team have always been huge supporters of the Help For Heroes charity.

'Meeting these lads left a lasting personal impression on me and it's something I felt I simply had to support.

'We know there are a lot of service families in Norwich and Norfolk that have been affected by the situation in Afghanistan and when we sat down to choose the charity to support, it was an easy decision.

'And as well, a member of our team knew Lewis Hendry, who died in February 2011 while on active service in Helmand Province.

'There are very few people who are not touched by what is happening and this event seemed the best way of helping raise money and growing the awareness of the excellent work they do.'

Epic is also running a competition with the prize of two tickets to Cocktails & Confusion, asking people to send in their own cocktail creations, with the winning cocktail also being added to the menu for the evening with a named credit.

Tickets are 60 and are available from www.epic-tv.com or by calling 01603 72727.
