Knitted poppies that formed part of a colourful display at the war memorial for the Dereham Carnival are raising money for the Royal British Legion.
A total of 218 poppies were knitted by Ann Edwards for the carnival, one for every name on the memorial.
She also knitted a string of khaki bunting to entwine the chain link fence around the landmark to acknowledge those who knitted for the war effort.
The poppies were dotted around the memorial and formed part of a huge yarn-bombing effort in the market place which saw all the street furniture covered in colourful knitting.
After the carnival, on July 16, the committee decided to sell 50 of the poppies and they were snapped up within hours. The sale raised £300 for the Royal British Legion.
As they proved so popular they have decided to put up another 50 for sale for £6 each and anyone interested can purchase them online here.
