A local animal charity is hoping to find adopters for some of their cats needing to be rehomed in pairs.

The RSPCA Norwich and Mid-Norfolk is looking for homes for pairs of cats who are either related to one another or have strong bonds, so that they can continue their friendships outside of the animal centre.

'We currently have two pairs of cats looking to be rehomed together,' says Claire Feek, animal care manager. 'These animals have strong bonds with one another and we are eager not to break these bonds to rehome them.

'The rehoming process can be quite daunting for a rescue animal and to have their companion rehomed with them will make the period of adjustment easier and in the long term, the new owner will have happier cats.'

Cadbury and Humbug are two-year-old males who have come into the centres care together – the same can be said for Domino and Barney who are seven and 11 respectively.
