A man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a two-car crash on the A149 in Rollesby, near Acle.
An East of England Ambulance Service Trust spokesman said a rapid response team, two ambulances, a paramedic car and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were called to the A149 Main Road near Fleggburgh Road just after 6.10pm on Sunday, August 20.
She said a man in his 40s was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious chest, pelvic and abdominal injuries.
A man and woman in their 70s were taken to the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston with less serious injuries.
The road was blocked after the accident and the air ambulance had left the scene by 7.30pm.
In a tweet put out just after 6.15pm on Sunday, August 20, Norfolk police said: 'A149 Rollesby - road blocked following RTC avoid area. Diversions in place. Norfolk Control Room. @GYarmouthPolice'
Firefighters from Great Yarmouth, Gorleston and Stalham were also called to support the other emergency services at 6.15pm.
Earlier on Sunday, August 20, just before 3.30pm, firefighters from Great Yarmouth helped police officers with an oil spill on Acle Bridge.
