A rail replacement bus service will run between Norwich and Nottingham because of industrial action by members of the Unite union.
The strike is affecting East Midlands trains.
National Rail said trains between Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester and Nottingham will run as normal, but customers travelling to and from Grantham, Peterborough, Ely and stations to Norwich may need to change trains at Nottingham.
The action is being taken by train maintenance staff.
