The Fursey Pilgrims marked the 20th anniversary of their first pilgrimage to Burgh Castle with a special service.
Thirty people assembled at the village church for the ecumenical service on October 7.
Canon David Abraham, founder of The Fursey Pilgrims, and Maureen Grey, on behalf of Burgh Castle Church welcomed the congregation.
The guest speaker was Revd Canon Peter Doll, Canon Librarian at Norwich Cathedral.
Members of other churches took an active part in the service with readings and leading intercessions and the congregation welcomed Father Brendan Palfrey, a priest from the Greek Orthodox Church of St Sophia in San Antonia Texas, and his wife.
Following the service the more able walked to the Roman fort for worship.
