A baby is on his way to hospital by ambulance from North Walsham this morning after reports that he had stopped breathing.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance landed on a field behind Sadlers Way to help with the emergency, involving a little boy aged about one year old, from nearby Plantation Road.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said they had been called at 9.16am. The baby was breathing when emergency crews were at the scene and it did not appear that his life was threatened.
He had been taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by land ambulance with the helicopter acting as an air escort.
