The A11 has fully reopened after a serious crash.

Emergency services were called to the Fiveways roundabout just before 2.20pm on Saturday.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service sent four crews - one from Brandon, another from Mildenhall and two from Newmarket - to the scene.

Kevin Brown, director of service delivery at the East of England Ambulance Trust, described the incident as a 'very serious multi-casualty' crash.

He said eight resources had been sent to the incident, including the air ambulance.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said there were injuries, but was unable to say how many vehicles had been involved.
