A man is set to stand trial this month for the murder of a man found dead in a Norwich flat three years ago.
Theodore Lynch, 41, has been charged with killing Leslie Smith, 63, whose body was discovered in his property on Suffolk Square in October 2021.
Appearing before Norwich Crown Court via video link from prison he was told his trial will begin on April 15 and is expected to take two weeks.
The court was told his defence team were still undertaking the examination of hundreds of hours of CCTV footage from the area at the hours and days surrounding the discovery of the body of Mr Smith.

His death was initially treated as unexplained by police and a Home Office post mortem concluded the cause of death was inconclusive.
But further tests revealed Mr Smith's cause of death was consistent with a wound on his neck and detectives from the Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team launched a murder enquiry.
Judge Alice Robinson granted a witness summons requiring that a woman give evidence after being told she was “understandably reluctant”.
