A town centre street in Cromer will close for a fortnight while a pedestrian crossing is installed.

Mount Street will be shut between its junctions with Church Street and with Bond Street on, or shortly after, February 24 while Norfolk County Council's contractors carry out the £16,000 project at the east end of Mount Street.

Light vehicles and buses will be diverted via Vicarage Road, Colne Road and The Croft, with temporary one-way and parking restrictions in force. Other HGVs will be diverted via the A140 through Roughton and the B1436 through Felbrigg, before reaching Cromer on the A148 Holt Road, and vice versa.
