An early morning Norwich train was delayed after it hit a deer on the line.
The 5.33am train, due to arrive in Cambridge at 6.52am, was eight minutes late because of the incident between Attleborough and Eccles Road.
A Greater Anglia spokesman said no other emergency workers were called and no other train services were affected by the accident.
