Car dealership NMG is celebrating another member of its staff achieving the pinnacle of the Kia Academy standards.
NMG Kia group aftersales manager Michael Long is the latest member of the Norwich dealership's team to achieve platinum status with the Kia Academy and joins an elite group of Kia-trained staff across the UK.
Mr Long has worked hard, joining the Mile Cross Lane-based company in the parts department, moving on to works controller, parts manager and then group aftersales manager, gaining several awards along the way.
His passion for the business, and his approach to customer satisfaction and towards his staff, have helped him stand out at the Kia Academy.
He was awarded his platinum membership, platinum pen set and lapel pin by Kia regional aftersales manager Liz Freeman.
She said: 'Michael is one of those naturally nice guys who leads from the front, and nothing is too much trouble for him. He is a credit to Kia and to NMG and I enjoy working with him on all things Kia. He is a consummate professional.'
NMG managing director Grant Long said: 'It gives me double the satisfaction to see my son achieve this latest award, the pinnacle of the Kia Academy standards. I am proud as the managing director and as his father.'
