Owners of classic and sports cars of all ages can enjoy a drive through Norfolk countryside and help charity at the same time on the fourth annual Nelson County Car Run on August 20.

The fourth Nelson County Car Run, open to all classic and sports cars of all ages, will take place on August 20.

Although organised by Norwich MG Owners Club, this event is open to all makes of car.

Starting at Easton and Otley College at Easton, near Norwich, the run covers about 70 miles through the quieter roads of Norfolk and finishes at a tourist attraction in the Wroxham area. The first cars will be away shortly after 9.30am and are planned to finish the run after 1pm.

Along the way the run passes through a private estate, not normally open to the public, and passes by several other interesting sites along the way.

Entry is £20 for a car with two passengers and this includes refreshments at the start, a comprehensive route book and rally plaque.

All proceeds will be given to the Hamlet Centre in Norwich which supports children and young adults with disabilities and complex health need and has been the beneficiary of the proceeds from the previous events. Recently, it was able to build a sensory garden in its grounds with the funds raised by the Nelson County Car Run.

Entry forms for the run are available online at www.nmgoc.co.uk or by SMS text to 07555 123895 giving your name and address.
