A central road in Wymondham will be closed for a day for resurfacing works.
The works mean traffic will not be able to access Friarscroft Lane between Fairland Street and Damgate Street on Tuesday, August 22 between 8am and 4.30pm.
Norfolk County Council has recommended a diversion route around Fairland Street, Market Street and Damgate Street.
A council spokesman said: 'It would be most helpful if residents could make arrangements for their vehicles to be parked at an alternative location during the closure period if at all possible, this will assist in ensuring the works are completed efficiently with minimal disruption. The county council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.'
The work will be carried out by the council's community and environmental services department and its contractors.
