Constitution Motors in Norwich has undergone a makeover and taken on more staff following the success of its new partnership with Mitsubishi Motors.

The dealership in Constitution Hill opened with Mitsubishi on September 1 and since then things have gone from strength to strength, having sold 25 new vehicles in their first two months.

A new sales executive, Allan Smith, has joined the team and the showroom has undergone a major revamp, with a new canopy added to the front of the building, new signs and an electric charging point installed for Mitsubishi's popular electric hybrid – the Outlander PHEV.

Ian Coates, managing director of the family-run business, said: 'It's been a fantastic start and we're really pleased with the new look of the showroom. The first few months with Mitsubishi have exceeded my expectations, which were already high to begin with.'

The new-look Mitsubishi showroom is the latest development for Constitution Motors which was established in 1958.

The company has joined Mitsubishi Motors in the UK at an exciting time for the brand. It was the fastest-growing mainstream car brand last year and sales in 2014 are equally impressive.

Mitsubishi Motors has seen its passenger car year-to-date sales grow by 112%, with October up 306%, according to figures just released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

The dealership employs 23 people including Ian's wife Sue, who runs the after sales department, and their daughter Emily, a service adviser.
