Essex & Suffolk Water have today placed a two day emergency closure of Stepshort that runs between Belton and Burgh Castle due to a burst water main.
This is in addition to the existing closure by Anglian Water of Lords Lane at Bradwell.
This means that the only access between Belton and Burgh Castle is via Market Road and then cutting through Bradwell to the A143 (where there are also temporary traffic lights) and on to Belton New Road.
