Movie fans in Great Yarmouth will have the chance to see one of this year's most talked about films - thanks to a determined art buff from Caister.

Lorraine Lavan was dejected when she was unable to book tickets for the sold-out first night of Loving Vincent being screened at Cinema City, in Norwich.

So the 60-year-old set about finding ways of beaming it onto a big screen closer to home.

She approached Debbie Thompson, theatre director at St George's Theatre, who went out of her way to make it happen.

The film is billed as the world's first fully painted feature film.

It explores the mystery of Van Gogh's death and whether he took his own life or was murdered.

Tickets £6 in advance via the St George's Theatre website or on the door.
