From parades to dungeon tours, it's all happening in Norfolk this Halloween. Celebrate the night of frights in all its gory glory at one of these local events.

• PrimEVIL, Dinosaur Adventure, Lenwade, 12-31 October, 6pm-11pm

Prepare to be scared silly at Norfolk's biggest Halloween event as it heads into its seventh year of haunted horrors. For 2017, PrimEVIL offers guests five 'scare attractions', including a Carnevil of Terrors, Forest of Fear and the Mayhem Manor Hotel. The nightmare inducing horror walk is incredibly popular, so brave visitors are advised to book in advance so as to avoid missing out on the creepy creatures, zombies and killer clowns that await them. It is not recommended that those aged under 12 attend the event and under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.

• BeWILDerwood's Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade, BeWILDerwood, Hoveton, 14-29 October

If you're looking for something a little less fearsome and a little more fun this Halloween, head on over to BeWILDerwood with the kids and celebrate with Snagglefang the bat, wicked witches, Slitherigrubs, Thorneycold Spiders and Swampy as part of the adventure park's Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade. Children will be able to spend the day exploring the woodland, discovering the fangtastic decorations, listening to a special Bewilderbats storytelling session and build and decorate their own lantern for the parade itself.

• Hallowe'en Trail at Museum of the Broads, Stalham, October 20-29, Sunday to Fri 10am-4pm, Saturday 10am-1pm

Learn something new while still indulging in horrors this Halloween at the Museum of the Broads where a selection of fun themed events will be taking place throughout the month. A fun trail around the museum has also been organised where guests can discover more about Broadland's ghoulish ghosts and win a creepy prize, but make sure to watch out for the Wroxham Witch!

• Halloween Spooktacular 2017, The Hippodrome Circus, October 20-31

The Hippodrome Circus will be putting on a spooky spectaular show this Halloween, filled with an amazing cast of international acts. Producer Jack Jay, said: 'The great thing about our Halloween show is how much audience interaction there is, you're not just watching the show, you're part of it! Last year so many people from young kids to grandparents came in full fancy dress and this year we want to encourage even more people to do the same.' The show runs daily at 2.30 and 6.30pm, with times varying on Sundays (1pm and 4pm) and on 30-31 October when there are only 6pm showings.

• Half Term Halloween fun, Park Britannia, Waterloo Park, Norwich, October 21-27

To celebrate the opening of the new Park Britannia cafe at Waterloo Park, a whole host of free Halloween events have been planned includng a Halloween party, potion making, face painting, crafts and more. A week of Halloween fun will be taking place at Norwich castle, with creepy dungeon tours, quizzes, a wizardry school, crafts, storytelling and more. For more information on specific activities visit facebook.com/NorwichCastleMuseum• Halloween at Holkham, 26-29 October, 10am-5pm

A range of family fun is on offer at Holkham this Halloween, including the chance to decorate your own terrifyingly tasty creation with the Kiddy Cook team in the old kitchen and a macabre murder mystery. If that's not enough there will also be a field to fork experience, bewitching poetry, a creepy quiz, face painting and storytelling.

• Ghost walks, Norwich, October 27-31

What better way to celebrate Halloween than with a creepy ghost walk through the fine city? This year's theme is Man in Black's best stories' and there are 15 stories drawn from tales previously told over the last 10 years. Expect magic and effects together with an enhanced troop of ghouls. Performances will be at 7.15pm every night with additional 9.30pm performances on Friday, Saturday and Tuesday. The event lasts approximately 90 minutes and tickets are £8.

• Halloween Roller Disco, Retroskate, October 27, 6.30pm

A Halloween-themed roller disco is taking place at Retro Skate this month. A range of prices are up for grabs including a free skate pass for the best fancy dress. Early arrival is advised and entry costs £1. Skate hire is an additional £1.

• Visit Wanda the Witch, Bistro Britannia, The Guildhall, Norwich 28-31 October

Little monsters are invited to visit Wanda, the witch of Guildhall, in her spooky lair above the Bistro. Dress up and be brave and you'll collect a treat and enjoy a spooky story too, all for free. Timings are 1-4pm on the 28-29 and 3pm-6pm on 31,

• Halloween Pumpkin Trail, Oxburgh Hall, October 28, 10.30am-4pm

Oxburgh Hall, a National Trust property built around 1482 by Sir Edmund Bedingfeld, will be hosting several pumpkin themed activities at the end of the month. Guests can head to the gardens to tackle the pumpkin trail and try their hand at spooky themed crafts in the Armoury. The event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

• Fairhaven Halloween Party, Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, South Walsham, October 31, 6pm-8pm

Ever wanted to explore an enchanted forest where witches rule? This Halloween you can do just that at Fairhaven, where a range of entertainment has been organised for their party, including food, potions, children's performers, live music and fabulous fireworks. Tickets are £9 for adults and £5 for children. The event is unsuitable for those under the age of three and is ticket only.

• Spooky City, Norwich city centre, October 31, 6pm-8pm

As the fright-filled day itself rolls around, what better way to celebrate than with thousands of other eerie beings as they take part in Norwich's Spooky City Parade. Don your finest fancy dress and prepare for an evening of tricks and treats. Meeting outside The Forum from 6pm, the parade will head through the city streets finishing in Chapelfield Gardens, where a range of ghoulish activities will be taking place. No booking is required for this fangtastic event, simply turn up and take part.
