An alien plant living in a flower shop has an appetite for a frightening fertiliser in the cult-classic rock musical, Little Shop of Horrors, which runs at Sheringham Little Theatre next week.

Featuring a cast of Little Theatre youth drama group members, the production, which includes 1960s music and a three piece 'orchestra pit', tells the tale of hapless shop worker Seymour, who discovers that a mysterious plant he is caring for thrives on human blood.

Co-directed by Jess Chamberlain and Harry Williams - who also stars as one of three versions of the plant - the production stars Charlie Randall as Seymour and Lucy Connor as his love interest Audrey, with Sam Thompson as shop owner Mr Mushnik.

Little Shop of Horrors is at Sheringham Little Theatre at 7.30pm from September 27-29. Tickets (priced £10) are available from the box office on 01263 822347 or via the theatre website.
