By midday today Culture Works East had already sold out of six of their workshops for young people at Latitude Festival.

The group, which is based at the Open Youth Venue at Bank Plain, in Norwich, is offering a range of fashion, music and journalism workshops across the weekend for 12-17 year olds together with Access to Music.

Eli Chapman, Culture Works East director, said: 'It gives them a chance to find out about the creative industries but also give them a place at the festival, and unveil some of the mystique about what happens at festivals.'

In the Inbetweeners stage, among the trees at Latitude Festival, was a pen for parents, while their children learn.

Lisa Butler, of Tattingstone, near Ipswich, said: 'This is brilliant because it provides activities but also an educational side, with is good as to have two days off school they have to keep a diary and show what they have learnt.'
